Yamaha Stratoliner description

2008 Yamaha Stratoliner DELUXE, I customized this bike and cared for her thinking I would never sell her. Would cost around $30K to duplicate, so this will be a steal for someone. She actually started as a 2008 Roadliner midnight that I bought new out of the box in late 2009. Then I added the factory batwing with speakers and ipod connectivity. Next came leather covered Mustang hard bags and seats. Just this year I added Vance and Hines pipes, power commander, and breather. Custom mirrors and grips make this a one of a kind beauty. She is ridiculously powerful and fast and steady as a freight train at highway speeds. Trucks do little as they pass with her weighing in at around 900 lbs. Very comfortable for a passenger as well. Only selling because I need the garage space after buying a new K1600 for long distance touring. This is the season for riding, so don't miss out on this. Please no low ball offers. She is priced very fairly and has been serviced meticulously by the book and detailed regularly. Clean as a whistle always and kept covered in my garage. $11,880.00 9546617244

Fri, 30 May 2014

The 2014 AMA Pro Road Racing season resumes this weekend with the Subway SuperBike Doubleheader at Road America, in Elkhart Lake, Wis., and all eyes will be on 21-year-old AMA Pro SuperBike rookie Cameron Beaubier on the No. 2 Monster Energy Graves Yamaha YZF-R1. Beaubier may be the new kid on the block, but he entered the season opener at Daytona International Speedway with high expectations.

GPify the Yamaha Fazer FZ8 with LeoVince

Mon, 05 Jul 2010

Here is what LeoVince has to say about the new Fazer8 and FZ8 exhausts: Quick off the mark with 3 exhaust options launched for Yamaha's brand new 800cc Fazer and FZ8 models, LeoVince promise you less weight, better looks and improved performance. These new Fazers, with their R1 engines, albeit downgraded to a smaller 800cc capacity, have been designed by Yamaha to give more bottom end power.  LeoVince have finely tuned their new slip-on GP-PRO and SBK-FACTORY exhausts to further increase both power and torque throughout the whole rev range, and endow the bike with a much improved sports sound - plus a removable db baffle for increased throatiness.

NO IT'S NOT an illusion: you're looking at the 1981 Yamaha OW53, ridden by double World Champion Barry Sheene in the first three rounds of the '81 500GP championship. The bike's owner, aircraft engineering entrepreneur Chris Wilson, has lent the £100,000 GP machine to Visordown for our stand at this year's NEC Motorcycle Show - 27th November to 6th December 2009. Sheene raced the bike in the 1981 championship, where he finished fourth at Salzburgring, sixth at Hockenheim and third at Monza.
