Default Quiet Baffle for V&H Propipe

Quiet Baffle for V&H Propipe-propipe-baffle-21903or-04.jpgGot this yesterday and decided not to install it. Fits later model V&H Propipes. Their part number for the baffle is 21903 or 21904 either one works. Their price $96 plus shipping. Mine $49 shipping included to lower 48. Paypal friends or family or add 3% for their fee. All hardware and instructions included, in original box.

The early ones are a straight cone shape no steps in it, Look at the one in the picture on my bike, that's a later one. You can also check the V&H site and look up the Propipe that fits your bike, click on that and it will tell you which optional quiet baffle fits it.

What is the difference between 21903 and 21904? I know one is for the chrome pipe and one for the black pipe, but why do they have 2 part numbers if they are interchangeable?

How does it compare to the standard baffle?

Who knows why there are two numbers?? I asked them about that and both fit it fine, you just have to be careful mounting it on a black pipe cause there are extra rivets to bypass that hold the tag on. The quiet baffle is designed to cut some of the raspy noise out and quiet it down a bit they say.
